Muchos éxitos de bot, el referente parece ser la variable

Recientemente (en los últimos 15 minutos) he tenido algunos accesos de la misma IP, está en un país de nuestra lista negra, así que subieron en nuestra página de "Acceso denegado", pero solo estaba interesado en qué beneficio podría obtener un bot / atacante con esto.

Todo lo que parece cambiar es el referente, ¿Alguien ha visto un comportamiento similar?

Existe la posibilidad de que estén intentando hacer DoS en su servidor, pero teniendo en cuenta la velocidad a la que están realizando un trabajo muy deficiente. Generalmente las botnets tienen tres propósitos:

  • información del índice (rastrea sus sitios web)
  • reduzca su sitio web utilizando un ataque DoS de capa 7 (es poco probable que tenga en cuenta la tasa muy baja a la que está accediendo a su sitio web)
  • anuncios de abuso en su sitio web para aumentar sus ganancias

Cualquiera de estos puede ser una razón, no me preocuparía demasiado, si te molesta, simplemente eliminaría el tráfico a nivel de firewall.
